Dear Toronto and GTA feminists,
We are organizing a two-part feminist event on July 10th and 11th, one open only to young feminists and the other to allies.
We have open spaces for workshops and performances by and for young women. Are you a young artist/ performer? Then we would like to hear from you. Performances can include but are not limited to spoken word, music, radical cheerleading and dance. Creativity is encouraged.
Are you a young woman interested in holding a workshop? Then, please get in touch! Workshops are to be loosely themed around organizing, and all ideas are welcome.
Workshops already planned include:
Zine Making 101
Radical Cheerleading
Popular education and Freeskool organizing
We also have spaces open to women's organizations, groups, collectives etc. to table.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Rachale Baker, and I was a workshop holder at the Montreal gathering, and a participant in Rebelles meetings/events in both Nova Scotia and British Columbia. I'm living in Toronto now, and I am very interested in coming out this weekend ( Sunday only) for the gathering/workshoping thats happened. Consider this as my RSVP :)
